Is Printify Free?
Joining is free and listing is free. What you pay is the per item cost in the table above, taken when an order comes in. There is also a paid Premium tier that lowers those per item costs, which is worth it only above a certain order volume.
Why is Printful More Expensive?
Higher item prices and higher shipping on paper.
Printful is different than Printify in that Printful has their own facilities, and includes free “branding” for the stores that they provide fulfillments. It’s pretty basic, just your logo printed on the packing slip as well as the packaging label. But sometimes just having that little bit of extra branding gives you a whole lot of legitimacy. Customer service is handled by their own in house teams.
Printify’s customer service teams reach out to vendors individually when problems arise. You can purchase additional branding services, and it’s usually an extra fee per order. So it’s up to you on deciding which business model you’re more comfortable with partnering with as your fulfillment supplier.
